- 2 weeks (14 days) after your dose of an accepted single-dose vaccine (Janssen/Johnson & Johnson)
- 2 weeks (14 days) after your second dose of an accepted 2-dose series (Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Sinovac, BIBP/Sinopharm, Moderna, Covaxin, Covishield, Novavax/Covovax)
- 2 weeks (14 days) after you received 2 doses of any “mix-and-match” combination of accepted COVID-19 vaccines administered at least 17 days apart
- If you don’t meet these requirements, you are NOT considered fully vaccinated to travel to the United States.
- If you are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19, you will NOT be allowed to board a flight to the United States, unless you meet the criteria for an exception under the Proclamation and CDC’s Order. A booster dose is not needed to meet this requirement.
*While in Malaysia, you are considered fully vaccinated if you met the following criteria:-
- 4 weeks (28 days) after your dose of an accepted single-dose vaccine (Janssen/Johnson & Johnson, CanSino)
- 2 weeks (14 days) after your second dose of an accepted 2-dose series (Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Sinovac, Sinopharm and Moderna)
- All senior citizens aged 60 years and above as well as recipients aged 18 years and above of full dose of Sinovac Covid-19 vaccine need to take booster shot to maintain their complete vaccination status before March 1, 2022.
For individuals who cannot be vaccinated for health reasons, they must submit a medical report that has been certified by a registered medical practitioner.
