4D3N Padang and Bukit Tinggi

Upon arrival at Minangkabau International Airport, transfer to Bukit Tinggi via Anai Valley (2 hours 50 minutes). Stop at Anai Waterfall, to enjoy the panoramic beauty of the waterfall and the surrounding. Visit the Information Centre to learn about Minangkabau history. After lunch, continue to Pandai Sikek, one of the best places to obtain the region’s famous handwoven cloth called “songket”. There is a street in Pandai Sikek dedicated to stores that sell “songket” fabrics. Upon arrival at Bukit Tinggi, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight in Bukit Tinggi.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken on a Minangkabau tour. You will visit Kinicko Coffee House and Hj Rosma Embroidery to shop for some famous embroidery products. Then, visit Pagaruyung King Palace or mostly known by Istana Baso by local people, the famous and important socio-historical object of interest in Tanah Datar. After lunch at a local restaurant, continue on a tour of Maninjau. Proceed to Ambun Pagi via Nagari Sungai Landia to capture some interesting moments. Stop for photos at Lake Maninjau, a caldera lake in West Sumatra, Indonesia. It was formed by a volcanic eruption estimated to have occurred around 52,000 years ago. After dinner, return to the hotel and overnight in Bukit Tinggi.

After breakfast and check out from the hotel, stop for photos at Ngarai Sianok Canyon and Japanese Tunnel. Sianok Canyon is a beautiful valley, green and lush, with a magnificient panorama of Mt Singgalang in the background. The Japanese Tunnel is a network of underground bunkers that was built by the Japanese during World War II. Then, you will visit Benteng Fort De Kock and the zoo. After a stop for photos at Jam Gadang, enjoy shopping at Pasar Atas. Continue to Padang (2 hours 50 minutes). Upon arrival in Padang, stop for photos at Padang Beach and Siti Nurbaya Bridge. Enjoy shopping at Chinatown and Pasar Raya. After dinner, transfer to the hotel for check in. Overnight in Padang.

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel. You are free at your own leisure until transfer to airport for departure.
