4D3N Remarkable Banda Aceh

Upon arrival at Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport, transfer for lunch at a local restaurant. Then, you will be taken on a city tour of Banda Aceh. Stop for photos at Seulawah Monument, the first Indonesia aircraft donated by the people of Aceh to Republic of Indonesia and very meritorious in realizing the country’s independence. After that, visit Mesjid Raya Baiturrahman, one of the mosques that survived when the Tsunami occurred in 2004. Continue to visit Museum Aceh, Cakra Donya Bell and Maqam Sultan Iskandar Muda. Transfer to the hotel for check in. Overnight in Banda Aceh.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit Gunongan Historical Park. It was erected by Sultan Iskandar Muda as a private playground and bathing place for his wife, Putroe Phang also known as Puteri Pahang. Then, see the special graveyard for Aceh Heroes and Dutch Army who were killed in the war. After that, you will be taken to a “pesantren” which is a shelter who are victims of the tsunami in 2004. Next, enjoy shopping at Plaza Pantai Perak, Plaza Berata and Pasar Aceh. Return to the hotel and overnight in Banda Aceh.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to PLTD Apung, an electric generator ship in Banda Aceh that has now become a tourist attraction. The 2,600 ton vessel had been in the sea and was flung 2 to 3 kilometres inland by the Tsunami. Then, you will be transferred to Ulee Lee village. You will visit the Lampuuk Beach and Lhoknga Beach, beautiful white sandy beaches which are becoming famous as for great beaches for surfing and kite surfing. The beaches are connected and cover over 5 kilometers. After that, you will see Cut Nyak Dien’s House, the replica of the house of Indonesian heroine fighting against the Dutch colonialization. In the evening, continue shopping in the city. Return and overnight in Banda Aceh.

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel. You are free at your own leisure until transfer to airport for departure.
