Day 01 - Arrival in Da Nang - Hoi An (L, D)
Upon arrival at Da Nang International Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to a local restaurant for lunch. Enjoy the sightseeing of East Vietnam Sea before heading to the ancient town of Hoi An which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and check in. Then, continue the exploration of Hoi An by visiting the Chinese Assembly Hall and Temples. It is one of the most famous historical buildings in Hoi An and has a great historical significance. After that, you will see the ancient houses that reflect a wonderful combination of Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese and French architectures. Proceed to visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, also known as Cau Chua Pagoda. Built in the early 17th century, the bridge is considered to belong to the Japanese community. Continue on the walking tour featuring the Ancient House of Tan Ki, the Fukian Assembly Hall and the Sa Huynh Culture Museum. Then, visit Hoi An Silk Village. It was officially opened in August 2012, based on the ancient silk weaving traditions of Quang Nam province that used Hoi An as a commercial seaport for over 300 years. Located down the street from Hoi An’s town center, you will learn about the entire production of silk from silkworm to silk products. After dinner at local restaurant, return to the hotel.
