Day 01 - Departure from Kuala Lumpur

Depart from KLIA at 2315 pm.

Day 02 - Tehran – Shiraz (B, L, D)

Upon arrival in Tehran at 0345 am, meet the guide and transfer to Ibis Hotel near the airport for prayers and breakfast. Then, return to the airport and depart for Shiraz at 0930am. Upon arrival in Shiraz at 1050 am, transfer to the hotel and check in. Go on a tour of Shiraz. Visit Shah e Cheragh, a funerary monument and mosque which is the most important pilgrimage site in Iran. Next, visit the Tomb of Hafez that was erected in memory of the celebrated Persian poet. In the evening, transfer to the hotel and overnight in Shiraz.

Day 03 - Shiraz (B, L, D)

After breakfast at the hotel, go on a full-day tour of Shiraz. Visit Nasir Al-Molk Mosque,
more commonly known as the Pink Mosque. A spectacular rainbow of stained glass makes it one of the most beautiful mosques in the country. Next, visit Eram Garden, one of the nine gardens that are designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to Karim Khan Citadel that has served different purposes throughout times, beginning as the king’s living quarters, then as the governor’s seat before it served as a prison, and finally as a museum. Continue to Vakil Mosque and Vakil Bazaar, before visiting the Quran Gate where a handwritten Quran stored in a chamber on top of the gate is believed to give blessings to those who passed underneath it. In the evening, return to the hotel and overnight in Shiraz.

Day 04 - Shiraz – Yazd (B, L, D)

After breakfast at the hotel and check out, depart for Yazd. En route, stop at Persepolis (1 hour), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The earliest remains of Persepolis date back to 515 BC. Continue to the Naqsh-e-Rustam (15 minutes), an ancient necropolis with reliefs from the Achaemenid and Sassanid periods. Next, visit Pasargadae, a UNESCO World Heritage Site (1 hour). It was the capital of the Achaemenid Empire under Cyrus the Great (559 – 530 BC). Proceed to Yazd and check in at the hotel upon arrival (4 hours). Then, visit the Jame Mosque for prayers and see the complex that is depicted on the back of the 200 riyal banknote. Next, see the Takhti’s Zoorkhane, an Iranian martial art that combines elements of Islam, Gnosticism, and ancient Persian beliefs. Continue to Amir Chakhmaq Complex, noted for its symmetrical sunken alcoves. Return to the hotel and overnight in Yazd.

Day 05- Yazd – Isfahan (B, L, D)

After breakfast at the hotel and check out, depart for Isfahan. En route, stop at Dowlatabad Garden, another Persian garden that has been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site (45 minutes). Then, continue to the Zoroastrian Fire Temple that has kept its fire burning for 1,550 years. Visit Narin Castle, built entirely with mud-brick. Upon arrival in Isfahan (2 hours 15 minutes), transfer to the hotel and check in. In the evening, see the Siosepol Bridge, the largest of eleven historical bridges in the city. Overnight in Isfahan.

Day 06- Isfahan (B, D)

After breakfast at the hotel, go on a tour of Isfahan. Visit Chehel Sotoun Palace, a pavilion
where Shah Abbas II, the seventh Safavid king and his successors received dignitaries and ambassadors. Continue to Naqsh-e-Jahan Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was constructed in the 17th century. Visit the Shah Mosque, regarded as one of the masterpieces of Persian Architecture in the Islamic era. Next, visit the six-storey Ali Qapu Palace, the monumental gateway to the royal palaces that lie beyond. Your next stop is Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque that was the first monument to be completed in the square. Stop at the Grand Bazaar for shopping, before continuing to Khajoo Bridge that looks magnificent at night. Return to the hotel and overnight in Isfahan.

Day 07- Isfahan – Kashan – Tehran (B, L, D)

After breakfast at the hotel and check out, depart for Tehran. Make a stop in Kashan to visit Agha Bozorg Mosque and School (1 hour 30 minutes). Built in the 18th century, it was constructed for prayers, preaching, and teaching sessions. Next, visit Fin Garden where the Qajarid chancellor Amir Kabir was murdered by an assassin in 1852. Continue to Qom and visit the Shrine of Fatima Masoumeh (1 hour 20 minutes). As a relative to one of the Twelver imams, Fatima was venerated as a saint and each year, thousands travel to the shrine to ask for blessings. Upon arrival in Tehran, transfer to the hotel and check in (2 hours). Overnight in Tehran.

Day 08- Tehran – Departure (B, D)

After breakfast at the hotel and check out, go on a tour of Tehran. Visit Golestan Palace, one of the oldest historic monuments in the city of Tehran. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it consists of gardens, royal buildings, and collections of Iranian crafts and European gifts from the 18th and 19th century. Continue to the National Museum, an institution formed of two complexes; the Museum of Ancient Iran and the Museum of Islamic Era. Next, visit Nature Bridge, the largest pedestrian overpass in Tehran at the length on 270 meters. The evening is free for you to do some last minute shopping, before transferring to the airport for your flight back home. Depart for Kuala Lumpur at 2230 pm.
