Drive out to Bunker Bay via a very picturesque road that takes you within a couple of metres of azure water and rock pools, before arriving at the ancient and awe inspiring limestone cliffs of Cape Naturaliste, viewing them first from below, and then a short walk will take you above the cliffs, offering majestic views. Then, head deep into the desert to explore the endless white sand dunes of Lancelin; Australia’s premier sand boarding destination. Often up to three storeys high, these sand dunes will offer thrill-seekers a ride of a lifetime. Don’t forget to hold on tight, while you fearlessly surf down the sandy waves, on custom made boards. Shake the sand out of your shoes, then travel on to the Nilgen Nature Reserve. A region abundant with flora and fauna, wander through a kaleidoscopic of wildflowers, including the likes of banksias, bottlebrush, heath, grass trees and kangaroo paws; all bursting with life, when in season.

If the flowers are in hiding, head over to Hangover Bay, where you can cool-off in the crystal-clear waters or spot the likes of bottlenose dolphins and sea lions. Continue to the Nambung National Park to witness the remarkable Pinnacles desert at sunset. Made up of shells, the Pinnacles date back millions of years to a time when the land was beneath the sea.

Best explored at dusk when the crowds evaporate and the thousands of limestone pillars rise eerily out of the desert; watch the colours change over the rocks, creating a lunar-like atmosphere. Spend the afternoon exploring one of the city’s most iconic attractions at your own pace. David Walsh’s MONA has helped to redefine Tasmania to a generation of Australians and its experimental, boundary-pushing exhibitions belong on every visitor’s list. Explore MONA at your own pace. A MONA art concierge can be arranged if required. Return to the city via one of MONA’s very own, purpose-built ferries. There are no bad seats on these colourful, sea-faring artworks but you will be riding in style in the aptly-dubbed ‘Posh Pit’ (additional cost). The walk from the ferry to most of Hobart’s best hotels is under five minutes. Please advise if you would prefer to have a host meet you on arrival to see you back to your hotel safely.

Descriptions: Join Seahorse World tour at Shed 1A Inspection Head Wharf, at Beauty Point to commence a Seahorse World Fully Guided Tour. Seahorse World provides a fun-filled educational tour of the world’s first seahorse farm and the Southern Ocean Aquarium. The secret life of seahorses is revealed and their unique characteristics amaze visitors. They are the only animal on earth where the male gives birth. After the farm, visitors move into the Southern Ocean Aquarium where they can see other bizarre creatures of these waters including the Weedy Sea dragon, giant Tasmanian Crab (world’s 2nd largest crab species), cuttlefish, local sharks, octopus and dozens of others.

Descriptions: Travel across the Tasman Bridge into the Coal River Valley and onto Richmond – a unique and historic town of stone cottages, classic Georgian mansions and home to the oldest Convict built Road Bridge in Australia as well as the oldest operating Catholic Church. Stroll along the picturesque Coal River and through the quaint village.

Enjoy browsing the many shops and galleries for unique gifts or souvenirs and enjoy some local produce from one of the many cafes or restaurants. Visit the popular sweet and lolly shop for a treat or perhaps explore the Richmond Gaol (entry at own expense). Then onto Bonorong a wildlife sanctuary and successful breeding site for the unique Tasmanian Devil for your up close encounter. Stroll the grounds and hand feed the other Tasmanian and Australian native animals that roam free

Descriptions: Wineglass Bay is nestled in the Freycinet National Park on the East Coast of Tasmania. One of Tasmania’s first National Parks, this is a coastal area rich in stunning landscapes. Depart from Hobart heading east then follow the coastline north, with amazing views of Maria Island and the coastal scenery. Travel through the seaside towns of Orford and Swansea as you make your way to Freycinet National Park. Enter the Freycinet peninsula, have a brief stop at the Freycinet Marine Farm for anyone interested in the local oysters, mussels or crayfish fresh from the pristine waters.

Walk as a group to the Wineglass Bay Lookout – this is a moderate uphill walk of around 45 minutes. Once at the top you are rewarded with that world famous view of Wineglass Bay and the stunning Freycinet National Park. The walk to Wineglass Bay Lookout is one of the Great Short Walks of Tasmania and requires good mobility and adequate fitness. It is 1.3 km uphill, before returning downhill. From the Lookout you have the option to return to the start of the walk with your tour guide, or for the keen walkers you can choose to spend the rest of your time completing the walk down to Wineglass Beach.

Wineglass Bay Beach Walk is a 2.5 hr return walk and adequate fitness is required. The tour has ample time for you to do the full walk to Wineglass Bay Beach and return. Once on the beach you can enjoy lunch (not included) in this stunning setting, jump in the pristine waters for a swim, or wander along the white sands. If you prefer to select the shorter walking option, then return from the Wineglass Bay Lookout with your tour guide and explore other areas of Freycinet National Park. Visit Honeymoon Bay, Sleepy Bay, Cape Tourville Lighthouse and Great Short Walk. After a full day depart Freycinet National Park to begin the trip back to Hobart. Return into Hobart around 06:00pm-06:30pm.

Descriptions: Departing from Launceston travelling South West and skirting the mountains of the Great Western Tiers towards Cradle Mountain National Park. Pass by quaint towns of Carrick, Hagley, Westbury and the scenic town of Deloraine before stopping at Sheffield – known as the town of Murals. view the many intricate and life like murals that adorn the towns buildings.

Travel through dense forest and mountainous terrain as you arrive at Cradle Mountain. Visit the Interpretation Centre. Perhaps take a short stroll along the Enchanted Forest Walk. Visit Waldheim Chalet and visit Dove Lake. On the return journey visit Ashgove Cheese Farm.
