Day 03 - Madrid – Toledo & Segovia – Madrid (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, make your own way to the tour departure point for your fullday tour of Toledo and Segovia, two cities that have been declared as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In the heart of Spain and surrounded by the River Tagus, Toledo is considered to be a second Rome. Its churches, synagogues, mosques, convents, walls, bridges, turrets, etc. constitute an important artistic and cultural legacy, fueling the coexistence between Christians, Arabs and Jews for centuries. Lose yourself in its narrow streets, squares and gardens, and admire the monumental richness. The tour includes stops at the Primada Cathedral, the Mirador del Valle, the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes
and the Puente de San Martín. Also in the Castilian lands stands another of the most visited cities in Spain: Segovia. Among its main attractions is the Roman aqueduct, the symbol of excellence of the city. Contemplate this majestic construction that leads the water from the mountain range to the city before visiting the Alcázar, one of the most emblematic castles of the country with its surprising shape, similar to that of the hull of a boat. In your walk around the old town you will also have the opportunity to admire the beautiful cathedral and the Plaza del Azoguejo, where the market was once held. In the evening, return to Madrid where your tour ends. Make your own way to the hotel and overnight in Madrid.
