ITINERARY

1

Day 01 - Kochi

Upon arrival at Cochin International Airport, transfer to your hotel for check in. Overnight in Kochi.

Day 02 - Kochi – Alleppey (Houseboat) (B, L, D)

After breakfast and check out from the hotel, depart for Alleppey (2 hours). Upon arrival, board a traditional Kerala-style backwater houseboat. You will see panoramic backwater stretches, lush paddy fields and traditional villages while cruising through the famous Kerala backwaters. Lunch and dinner will be served on the houseboat. Overnight on the houseboat.

Day 03 - Alleppey – Kumarakom (B, L, D)

After breakfast on the houseboat, continue cruising to the Backwater Resort, located at the massive Vembanand Lake in serene surroundings at Kumarakom. Upon arrival, transfer to the resort and check in. You are free at leisure to explore the resort and indulge in the various activities provided on your own expense. Overnight in Kumarakom.

Day 04 - Kumarakom - Kochi (B, L, D)

After breakfast and check out from the resort, you will return to Kochi (2 hours). Upon arrival in Kochi, transfer to the hotel for check in. Then, you will be taken on a Kochi city tour. Visit St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. After that, walk around the Jew Street and visit the Jewish Synagogue (closed on Fri/Sat), the oldest active synagogue in the Commonwealth of Nations. Continue to Mattancherry Palace, a Portuguese palace popularly known as the Dutch Palace, which features Kerala murals depicting portraits and exhibits of the Rajas of Kochi. The palace is now a museum (closed on Friday). Next, see the Chinese fishing nets at Fort Cochin. Return to the hotel and overnight in Kochi.

Day 05 - Kochi (B)

After breakfast and check out from the hotel, you are free at leisure to enjoy shopping and sightseeing around your hotel. Transfer to the airport for your departing flight.
