Day 01 - Arrival in Budapest

Upon arrival in Budapest, transfer to the hotel via a shared coach. The rest of the day is free at leisure for you to explore the city. Overnight in Budapest.

Day 02 - Budapest (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up from your hotel for your half-day panoramic sightseeing tour of Budapest. See Chain Bridge, the oldest bridge in Budapest and a certain engineering marvel of its time. The Margaret Bridge is viewed from your window as you head to Buda. Stop in the Castle District and enjoy a pleasant walk to the Matthias Church and to the Fishermen’s Bastion from where you can enjoy the beautiful panoramic views of the Danube, Margaret Island, Pest to the east and Gellért Hill, with the Citadel sitting atop it. Going across the Danube via the Elisabeth Bridge to Pest, you discover the famous Central Market Hall, followed by the largest Synagogue of Europe and City Park. Passing by
Europe’s largest thermal spa, the Budapest Zoo and the Amusement Park, you reach Heroes’ Square devoted to the legends of Hungarian history. Taking the grand tree-lined Andrássy Avenue to downtown Pest, you can view the Opera House and Saint Stephen’s Basilica. After the tour ends at 12.30, the rest of the day is free for you to explore the city. Overnight in Budapest.

Day 03 - Budapest – Vienna (B)

After breakfast at the hotel and check out, transfer to the train station and board your train to Vienna (2 hours 40 minutes). Upon arrival in Vienna, transfer to the hotel and check in. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Vienna.

Day 04 - Vienna (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, make your own way to Sudtiroler Platz for your half-day Vienna
city tour that will begin at 9.45 am. Drive along the famous Ringstrasse, the monumental boulevard, and admire the astonishing assembly of palaces, ministries, churches and opera houses that flank it. Behold the impressive Vienna State Opera, home to the world famous Opera Ball and continue the tour to marvel at the imperial winter residence, Hofburg Palace. See buildings such as the Museum of Art History, the glorious Gothic revival-style City Hall, the neo-classical Austrian Parliament, the brilliant Burgtheater, the Museum of Natural history and many more outstanding architectural gems. The highlight of the tour is the visit to the Schoenbrunn Palace, a 1,441 room Baroque palace outside of the old town. It was here that the emperors would while away their summers, hunting, fishing and partying. Take time to stroll through the equally impressive gardens and you can take a break with a Viennese coffee. After the tour ends at 1.15 pm, you are free at leisure. Overnight in Vienna.

Day 05 - Vienna – Prague (B)

After breakfast at the hotel and check out, transfer to the train station and board your train to Prague (4 hours). Upon arrival in Prague, transfer to the hotel and check in. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Prague.

Day 06 - Prague (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, make your own way to Plaza Wenceslav where your half-day tour of Prague will begin at 10.00 am. Begin your exploration at the Municipal House, a majestic jewel of modernist art. Then raise your eyes to the Gunpowder Tower, the original city gate, named for its 17th century purpose as a store for gunpowder. Today it acts as a charming entrance to the Old Town as you follow Celetná Street to the Old Town Square, which in itself is an exhibition of centuries of architecture. From there, continue by Franz Kafka Square Marianské to the square, where stands the Clementine, built at the time as a Jesuit university. Drive along Karlova Street to the stunning Charles Bridge, the symbol of the city. A mighty causeway across the River Vlatava to the Lesser Town, the bridge sits on a series of grand arches and is a monument to Gothic Civil engineering. Follow the right bank of the river to the Jewish Quarter, and end up back in the Old Town Square, with a chance to see the world famous medieval Astronomical Clock, with its Walk of the Apostles and the figure of Death striking the hour. After the tour ends at 1.00 pm, the rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Prague.

Day 07 - Departure (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
