Day 01 - Kuala Lumpur – Tashkent (Wednesday)

Depart from Kuala Lumpur at 1945.

Day 02 - Tashkent (Thursday, B)

Upon arrival at Tashkent International Airport at 0045, transfer to the hotel and overnight in Tashkent. After breakfast at the hotel, go on a city tour of Tashkent. See the Independence Square and Amir Temur statue in Amir Temur Square. Next, you will visit Alisher Navoi Theatre Square, Museum of Applied Arts, and the underground Tashkent Metro. Continue to the old parts of Tashkent and see the Khazrati Imam Complex that houses Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum, Barak-khan Madrasah, and Muyi Mubarak Mosque that is believed to have in its possession the hair of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). In the evening, you have free time to shop at Chorsu Bazaar and Samarkand Darvaza shopping center. Return to the hotel and overnight in Tashkent.

Day 03 - Tashkent – Urgench – Khiva (B)

After breakfast at the hotel and check out, transfer to the airport for your departure to Urgench. Upon arrival in Urgench, transfer to Khiva city (1 hour). Proceed with city tour in Khiva. Visit Ichan – Kala architectural complex. Itchan Kala is the inner town of the old Khiva oasis. The town is completely surrounded by brick city walls. See the residence of the last khova khan including Ismail Khodja Mousoleum, Muhammed Amin Khan Madrassah which is the largest Madrassah in the Central Asia. Continue to Kunya – Ark Castle (XVI-XVI) which consist of several rooms such as Ayvan room with a throne, outdoor courtyard as well as rooms for Khan’s treasure, manuscripts and rooms for rest. Visit Kalta Minor Tower, it has become the real symbol of the city. Next, visit Tash-Hovli Palace, Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum and Juma Mosque. In the evening, transfer to the hotel and check in. Overnight in Khiva.

Day 04 - Khiva – Bukhara (B)

After breakfast at the hotel and check out, depart for Bukhara (6 hours 30 minutes), through the red dessert which is the 15th largest desert in the world. Enjoy the scenic view of desert with roaming camels, nomadic yurts and old Amudarya River (Oxus). Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and check in. Overnight in Bukhara.

Day 05 - Bukhara (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken on a city tour of Bukhara. Visit Citadel Ark, a 5th century fortress. The ark encompassed a town that was inhabited by the various royal courts that held sway over the region surrounding Bukhara. See the Samanid Mausoleum which is considered to be one of the most esteemed works of the Central Asia architecture and Chashma Ayub Mausoleum which features a conical dome that is uncommon in Bukhara. Continue to Bolo Hauz Mosque, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and stop to shop at Kompol Bazaar. Next, you will be taken to Lyabi Hauz complex that contains Madrasah Nodir Divan-Beghi, and Poi-I-Kalyan complex that houses the Kalon Minaret, Kalyan Mosque, and Madrasah Miri Arab. In the evening, transfer to the hotel and check in. Overnight in Bukhara.

Day 06 - Bukhara – Gijduvan – Samarkand (B)

After breakfast at the hotel and check out, depart for Samarkand. En route, stop at Gidjuvan, a city famous for its ceramic products (1 hours). Visit the house-museum of famous ceramists, and you may also shop for some intricate ceramic items to bring home. Continue to Samarkand (3 hours 30 minutes). Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and check in. Overnight in Samarkand.

Day 07 - Samarkand – Tashkent (B)

After breakfast and check out from the hotel, go on a tour of Samarkand. Visit Registan Square that houses Ulugh-Beg Madrasah, Shir-Dor Madrasah, and Tilla-Kori Madrasah. It is the heart of Samarkand, where people used to gather to hear royal proclamations. Next, visit Ulugh-beg Observatory that was built in 1420. During its glory days, it was one of the finest observatory in the Islamic world, with up to 70 astronomers working there. Continue to Shah-i-Zinda Architectural Complex that comprises of mausoleums and ritual buildings which has been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Kusam bin Ahmad, a cousin to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is believed to have been buried here. Visit Mausoleum Guri Emir, the resting place of the Asian conqueror Timur who was also known as Tamarlane. Next, visit Bibi Khanym Mosque, one of the most important monument in Samarkand. In the 15th century, it was one of the largest and most magnificent mosque in the world. Continue to Afrosiab then, depart for Tashkent by high speed train. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel for check in. Overnight in Samarkand.

Day 08 - Tashkent – Departure (B)

Check out from the hotel at 0530 and transfer to the airport for your flight back to Kuala Lumpur at 0745.
