1. What is changing with your emergency travel assistance?

Previously, our after-hours support was available only until 11.00 pm. Now, we are upgrading to full 24/7 emergency support to assist travelers at any time of the day or night. To ensure high-quality service, the fee is now RM200 per request.

2. What does the 24/7 emergency travel support cover?

Our dedicated team will assist you with:
✅ Flight changes, rebooking & cancellations
✅ Urgent ticketing & reservation support
✅ Last-minute hotel arrangements (if part of your travel package)
✅ Assistance with lost/stolen travel documents
✅ Travel disruptions (delays, missed flights, re-routes, etc.)

For general inquiries, we recommend contacting us during business hours to avoid the RM200 fee.

3. How much does the 24/7 emergency service cost?

The new service fee is RM200 per request, which covers immediate assistance from our expert team at any hour. If your inquiry isn’t urgent, we advise reaching out during business hours (Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM) to avoid the service fee.

6. Can I avoid the RM200 fee?

Yes! Here’s how you can avoid the emergency fee:
✔ Plan ahead – If possible, handle your bookings, changes, or inquiries during business hours (9 AM – 6 PM, Mon-Fri).
✔ Use our online tools – Some changes (e.g., flight rescheduling) can be managed via airline websites or apps without needing agent support.
✔ Book flexible fares – Some tickets allow free date changes, reducing the need for emergency assistance.

7. What happens if I don’t pay the RM200 fee?

If your request falls under emergency support outside business hours, we can only proceed once the RM200 fee is confirmed. If you choose not to proceed, no action will be taken.

8. Does the fee apply per request or per person?

The RM200 fee is per request, not per traveler. If multiple people in your booking require assistance for the same issue, it is still one charge per request.

9. What if the issue is the airline’s fault?

If your issue is caused by the airline (e.g., flight cancellations, overbookings, missed connections due to delays), we recommend:
✔ Contacting the airline first – They may provide free rebooking options.
✔ If you still need assistance, our 24/7 team is available, but the RM200 fee applies for our intervention.

10. What about hotel issues or lost luggage?

  • Hotel-related issues (e.g., check-in problems, overbookings) are covered if booked through CIT.
  • Lost luggage is handled by the airline, but we can advise on the best steps.

For non-urgent hotel/luggage issues, please contact us during business hours.

11. I booked with CIT but my airline/hotel provides support. Should I still contact you?

You can reach out to the airline or hotel directly, but if you need us to intervene on your behalf, the RM200 service fee applies.

12. If I have a travel insurance policy, does it cover this service fee?

Most standard travel insurance policies do not cover travel agent fees, but it’s best to check your policy. However, your insurance may cover costs related to cancellations or emergencies that led to your request.

13. Will I be charged if my request cannot be completed?

The RM200 fee applies for processing your request, even if:

❌ The requested alternative is unavailable.

We will always advise you on available options before proceeding.

14. Does this policy apply to all customers?

Yes, the 24/7 emergency support fee applies to all travelers, including corporate clients, FIT (Free Independent Travelers), and group bookings.
