Wildlife – Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary
Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary – the world’s first & largest koala sanctuary, is located in Fig Tree Pocket, just 12km (a 15-minute drive) from Brisbane CBD. Meet 130 koalas and 100 native species at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. Koalas aren’t the only Aussie animal you’ll meet; the sanctuary is also home to dingoes, wombats, kangaroos and more. There are a few wildlife tours available at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. Guest can also participate in their Animal Sponsorships – sponsoring a Lone Pine animal is the perfect way to support not only our wildlife, but also their wild counterparts.

Nature – Climb Mt Coot-Tha
Mt Coot-Tha is the closest mountain to the Brisbane CBD offering a panoramic view of the city, ways to spend a day and the perfect spot for a picnic. One of the primary attractions at Mount Coot-tha is the panoramic viewpoint from the summit. This location is particularly popular for watching the sunrise or sunset. At the base of the mountain, you’ll find the Brisbane Botanic Gardens at Mount Coot-tha. It covers 52 hectares and features a wide variety of plant species from both Australia and around the world.

Sky-High – Touch the Sky with The Story Bridge Climb
Brisbane’s must do experience, the Story Bridge Adventure Climb is a truly unique and memorable adventure. The Story Bridge Adventure Climb is one of the only three bridge climbs in the world. The one and a half to two hour experience includes a unique journey up over the bridge’s superstructure to the 80-metre summit which provides magnificent uninterrupted 360 degree views of Brisbane City, the river, mountain ranges and islands. One of only three such experiences in the world, the Story Bridge Adventure Climb also provides fascinating commentary about the history and heritage of both the bridge and city surrounds.

Icon – Wheel of Brisbane
An iconic landmark sketched upon the South Bank skyline, the Wheel of Brisbane is a breathtaking way to soak up spectacular 360-degree panoramic views of Brisbane’s cityscape, landmarks and famous river. The awe-inspiring design is 60 metres high and feature 42 fully enclosed and air-conditioning gondolas. A ride on the Wheel typically spans 10 to 15 minutes and includes a captivating pause at its zenith. Each gondola is equipped with an audio system that imparts insights into the city’s historical landmarks. Visitors have the choice to enjoy the sights during the day, a romantic sunset journey, or the city’s sparkling nocturnal lights, with all rides accompanied by an informative audio tour of Brisbane’s landscape.
