Effective 1 January 2026, Malaysia Airlines will roll out major updates to its Enrich loyalty programme. These changes are designed to reward frequent flyer travellers, long distance travellers, and choose premium cabins - while also streamlining how members earn and use their benefits. Refreshed benefits: Silver members will enjoy an additional 10kg baggage allowance and priority baggage service, while companion cards will now go digital via the Enrich app. Platinum Companion lounge access, however, will see tighter restrictions. Transition assurance: Your current tier and points remain valid until expiry. The new rules only apply to flights taken from 1 January 2026 onwards. What this means for Travellers Frequent Flyers and Business Travellers Good news if you travel often or prefer premium cabins, you will earn more points and Elite Points per trip, helping you reach higher tiers faster.
